UK utility British Gas, which has over 8,000 field service engineers delivering a range of services to its 4 million customers, has signed a large-scale licensing and service agreement with ClickSoftware. The solution will represent one of the largest field service optimisation deployments.
ClickSoftware’s ServiceOptimization Suite includes customer demand and workload forecasting, strategic and tactical capacity planning, daily service scheduling and business analytics. British Gas believes that the implementation will allow it to continue to improve on customer service.
ClickSoftware has also announced that Terasen Gas, based in Canada, has chosen its ServiceOptimization Suite to enhance service delivery.
