Forget your worries, ESCO Europe 2014 programme is now online

The ESCO market is a time-bomb waiting to go off…! In a good way.

This is what industry pundits tell me. Well, we take pride in helping to facilitate this process, bringing market participants together; illustrating the benefits, and challenging the obstacles. This is what we stand for. A bigger, stronger European ESCO market is what we hope to achieve!

So, we take the look and feel of the ESCO conference very seriously. We are always striving for new angles, new speakers, new areas of focus.

Barcelona 2014 delivers nothing less.

We have spent more time and resources this year than ever before in getting the shape of this event exactly right. In July we convened a committee meeting in London which was attended by a selected panel of 10 leading experts.

We listened. We learnt. We acted. As a result, ESCO Europe 2014 comes with a fresh look and feel:

  • Focus on the public sector. We drill down on the issues affecting public sector municipalities. What are the experiences of municipalities who have used the ESCO model? What concerns and restrictions are holding others back? We examine innovations in financing that is allowing more municipalities to find the resources to invest in building energy efficiency. We also profile new streamlining in the contract and procurement processes available to regions.
  • We shed light on the issues facing the private sector. We examine the commercial value of becoming an eco-friendly building. We offer a range of case studies from private clients showcasing frameworks, experiences and innovations.  We also hear the answers to ‘’getting the best value from EPC’’. We hear insights from the Energy Managers’ Association on: UK EPC self-regulation: a model for Europe to follow?
  • More attention on funding. Improving access to funding, funding small-scale ESCO projects, taking investment off-balance sheet. These are all key questions under the spotlight in the ESCO Europe 2014 programme. We also convene a high-level panel session that draws comparisons and assesses the relative benefits of finance mechanisms which have witnessed greatest success over the last few years.

The ESCO programme is online. It’s not 100% complete, but it is online and you can begin to get a real sense of where we are going for the 2014 event. With registration also open, why not book your ticket now and be certain to get in before close of the Early Bird Deadline on Friday 22 November.

Look forward to meeting you in Barcelona!
