Industry leaders from across energy, water, IIoT, and smart communities segments will gather at Itron Inspire 2021, a three-day virtual summit that will take place from 4 to 6 October.

During this data management track session, National Grid’s John Maupin will share an update on their 2021 quest to modernise their settlements systems. National Grid is a Metering Authority responsible for reporting energy loads for settlement points in the New York and New England ISOs.
Track session: Energy data: What do energy consumers want?

Nathan Shannon of the Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative and Jamie Wimbley from DEFG, will discuss how consumers want to engage with their energy providers and usage data. They will explore the impact of new smart home technologies and real-time transactional options on consumers and utility operations.
