Australian Utility Week and Power Australia have joined forces in a new co-located event that will introduce the world renowned POWERGEN and DistribuTECH brands into Australia for the first time, between 14-15 August at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre.

The event is anticipated to attract over 150 exhibitors and 3000 industry professionals. The new dates were specifically chosen to ensure availability of the best speakers from the industry and to compliment the global energy events program.

It also introduces SolarVision focusing on utility scale solar power generation.

The event will focus on the three key areas – power generation, transmission & distribution and digital transformation – that are critical to the future success of the energy sector in the region. The outcome of these important events coming together will mean more exhibitors, more industry decision makers and a greater ability to network and create business opportunities.

Commenting on the new event, Richard Ireland, regional MD for Clarion explained that the combination of the global authority, insight and heritage of POWERGEN and DistribuTECH combined with the local expertise of Power Australia and Australian Utility Week, will provide Australia with its first event that is truly covering the end to end value chain of power generation, transmission & distribution and digital transformation.
