A refreshing mix of innovators will be speaking on the panel:

Oriol Pujoldevall, Head of Business Development at Energy Web Foundation. He manages the growth of the EWF ecosystem, establishing strategic partnerships with energy stakeholders all across the value chain with the objective of bringing blockchain technology to the mainstream of the energy sector. Oriol started his career developing decentralized solutions for energy generation in African rural areas, which developed his interest to Blockchain and DLTs. Oriol led the creation of the first online educational program on Blockchain in the energy sector. Mr. Pujoldevall holds degrees in Science & Energy Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Marloes Wichink-Kruit, Human Capital Manager, InnoEnergy, Netherlands Marloes is the Human Capital Manager of InnoEnergy. “The challenge of InnoEnergy is big, but our goal is simple: to achieve a sustainable energy future for Europe. Marloes is managing the InnoEnergy Career Centre, which is part of the InnoEnergy’s Education system. The Game-changing Impact Challenges, which will be organised this year for the first time during the European Utility Week, has been initiated by the InnoEnergy Career Centre in collaboration with its partners GC Index and Initiate!

Maurice Benning, Investment Director, Shell Ventures Maurice is an Investment Principal in the Amsterdam-based Shell Ventures team responsible for Oil & Gas related investments including acting as the venturing lead for the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (“OGCI”). Prior to joining Shell Ventures in 2017, he led Shell’s Global Contracting & Procurement efforts in R&D, Innovation and technology commercialisation.
Maurice joined Shell in 2006. He holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Utrecht and completed successfully the Grotius/VIRA post-degree specialist programme in Computer Law and is a Dutch national.

Sietske Jacobs, Project Manager Initiate!, Clarion Energy, Netherlands Sietske Jacobs is Project Manager for the EUW innovation programme Initiate! She has been working on the Initiate! programme for over 4 years developing a programme with the industry to create positive change.
