Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has become the first firm to receive ISO 56002 certification in innovation management and the first utility to receive the ISO 30401 certification in knowledge management.
DEWA has five knowledge centres which depend on innovative and smart knowledge management systems.
Employees use these centres to borrow and return books and periodicals using self-service kiosks.
The centres enable DEWA staff to access digital content easily.
