Reimagined business models, changing customer expectations, ageing infrastructure and integrating new and rapidly evolving technologies – the challenges facing utilities and cities are daunting. Addressing these challenges today and tomorrow requires working together.

Itron Utility Week (IUW), the industry’s premier customer-focused event, will bring together industry leaders and innovators to share ideas, learn lessons and design the future for utilities and cities. Held this year in Marco Island, Florida, from 11 to 18 October, IUW will emphasise the power of community.

The ability to transform the industry lies in community and in an ecosystem of like-minded companies that band together to share knowledge and learn from one another to bring lasting, positive change in the way energy and water are managed, all around the world.

Knowledge Conference

The Knowledge Conference is the main event at Itron Utility Week. Conference delegates choose from over 90 breakout sessions across four tracks, attend two impactful keynotes, participate in a number of networking activities and visit the Knowledge Center to learn about Itron’s end-to-end solutions as well as complementary offerings from our partners.

In the Advanced Applications & Outcomes track, sessions address distributed intelligence, analytics, distributed energy management, forecasting, smart payment, renewables integration, consumer engagement, and outcome-based services and solutions for utilities, cities and third-party providers across the globe.

In the Multi-Purpose Network Solutions track, attendees will discover Itron’s approach to navigating this changing environment with interoperable, multipurpose network platforms designed from the ground up to support a broad range of outcomes today and tomorrow.

The Data Management track is the best place for attendees to discover how Itron solutions enable utilities and cities to better manage and make the most of their data.

In the Mobile & Measurement Solutions track, attendees will learn how Itron is meeting the ever-changing demands of the world’s energy and water distribution systems with advanced measurement and sensor products, regulators, systems and services. This track also showcases how Itron Mobile-based solutions offer flexibility for seamless migration to a next-generation network or hybrid deployment to meet your business and operational requirements.

Knowledge Center The Knowledge Center is a showcase of Itron’s comprehensive solutions and partner offerings. It’s a thriving ecosystem that demonstrates the value of Itron technology, software and services – and is staffed by knowledgeable experts that can show attendees how their utility can become operationally excellent and make the most of its electricity, gas and water resources.

Networking Events From the Women in Utilities Reception to the Monday night event, IUW offers many opportunities to network with peers.

This year, the Monday night signature event will be a beach block party taking place on the beautiful beaches of Marco Island as the sun sets, creating the perfect setting to unwind after a full day of learning.
