The rebranding, the UK energy provider says, is to more accurately reflect the brand’s core mission – to accelerate the transition to a sustainable energy future.
Since beginning operations in 2010, the company has become one of the largest investors in solar and wind power in the European Union, managing over €3.3billion) of assets globally.
Octopus Renewables has also made recent investments in Finland, Australia, France and Italy, creating a clean energy asset portfolio totalling 2.3GW.
