Lord Ian Duncan has become the United Kingdom's Minister for Climate Change and been appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
Lord Duncan has served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Northern Ireland since October 2017.

Duncan’s responsibilities are now set to include leading climate science and innovation, and driving advances in clean heating and smart metering in the UK.
The Scottish politician will also work with former Energy and Clean Growth Minister, Claire Perry, who is now the UK’s nominee for COP26 President.
