India’s IGL selects Tancy for smart gas meter project


Indian utility Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has selected Tancy for the supply of smart gas meters for rollout in its grid modernisation programme.

As part of the deal, Tancy will provide IGL with over 2000 rotary displacement gas meters, electronic volume corrector, Enesys Platform and data hosting services for a period of five years.

Tancy provided IGL with a highly qualified end-to-end solution, supporting daily meter reading and real-time monitoring of the gas security at end customers.

The solution enables IGL to improve its management, service and modernization level.

IGL is one of the largest CGD Companies in India, it mainly focuses on the businesses in National Capital Territory which serves more than 1.6 million customers and owns 560 GNG gas stations.
