Customer engagement solutions firm Simple Energy has announced its partnership with subsidiaries of utility giant AES Corporation.
The solutions provider will provide its digital customer engagement platform to Dayton Power and Light Company (DP&L) and Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL).
Simple Energy claims its solution will help DP&L and IPL to achieve high levels of performance in sustainability, safety, reliability and service for nearly one million customers.
DPL will implement the company’s fully-integrated platform that includes Behavioral Energy Efficiency, Marketplace and Rebates-as-a-Service offerings to engage, empower and enable its customers in energy efficiency initiatives.
IPL will use the Marketplace to help consumers save energy, time and money, while allowing the utility to maximise the impact of its demand side management programme.
The utilities join 50 other utilities and cooperatives using the solution to manage customer engagement platforms.
