Exelon brings consumer EV test drive at highest ranked US auto show

US utility Exelon and its subsidiary EZ-EV are sponsoring an electric vehicle test drive programme during the Washington Auto Show (April 5 to April 14).

The project is an effort by Exelon to increase consumer awareness on EV options available, charging technologies and sustainable behaviour and even available government incentives on EVs.

Consumers will have access to information on EV charging such as available home charging stations and how to find and use public EV charging facilities.

The main aim is to accelerate consumer EV adoption.

The indoor and outdoor EV test drive programme is a new addition of the Washington Auto Show.

Vehicle manufacturers participating include Hyundai, Nissan, Audi, and Toyota.
