The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) has released its 2020 Utility Energy Efficiency Scorecard which explores how the 52 largest utilities in the US increased their overall energy savings.

The utilities increased their annual energy savings by 20% since 2015, to save almost 20 TWh of electricity in 2018 from programmes administered that year— enough to power 1.8 million homes.
