US energy providers Elizabethtown Gas and Riverside Public Utilities have selected Oracle Utilities to improve consumer awareness on energy efficiency.
Using the firm’s Opower Home Energy Reports, the two utilities expect to increase customer engagement in efficiency programmes as well as increase savings for more than 179,000 households.
The solution will provide customers with personalised tips on how they can optimise their energy use.
The developments are an extension of the previous partnership with Oracle Utilities on energy management projects.
Elizabethtown Gas had in December 2017 implemented the firm’s energy efficiency web portal for customers to use online tools including bill comparison insights and audits.
Riverside Public Utilities has been using Oracle’s Work and Asset Management solution to manage asset lifecycles, streamline maintenance operations and improve regulatory compliance.
