If í¢â‚¬¦ the lights go out

The Global Utilities Institute will present a four and one-half day seminar in London, England, from June 13-17 2005, for electricity industry leaders seeking to understand and learn from the market and other developments which have led to wholesale speculation, even prediction, of blackouts in the industrialised nations. Delegates will hear about the concerns and what measures are planned or in motion to address the fundamentals and to furnish remedies for this and other important challenges, which will test our industry.

The week will comprise a series of presentations from international speakers, and counterpoint presentations by Larry Harper, GUI Managing Director, who will also facilitate a searching debate where delegates will be encouraged to share their own experiences with the group.
