Kontrol Energy to optimise energy management in 60 multi-residential buildings

In Canada, a national real estate asset manager has contracted Kontrol Energy to deliver its energy management hardware and software solution.

The solution will be used to optimise energy management and reduce costs in 60 multi-residential buildings.

The solution will be installed in approximately 30% of the buildings this quarter and in all the buildings by early Q1 2019.

The solution will be deployed as Software as a Service on a monthly subscription basis.
The IoT-based technology communicates with a building’s automation system to gather data regarding heating, cooling and other electricity needs.

The data is then sent to a cloud-based architecture where it is analysed to identify inefficiencies, energy efficiency potentials, and risk.

The system provides consumers with alerts in the event they reach or exceed energy efficiency goals.
