We spoke with Zhang Jie Vice Chairman and General Secretary Investment Association of China, about the latest trends and opportunities in China’s energy market, and the country's clean energy transition.

Installed solar, wind and biomass are reaching significant levels as the country focusses on its transition, with a firm focus on electrifying grid-fed energy, transportation and infrastructure in residential, commercial and rural markets.

International opportunity abounds according to Mr Zhang, at both the production and consumption ends of the market, as support for the commercial sector's transition, and rural areas as urbanisation efforts are bolstered.
