Spanish energy company Endesa has been recognised by the Ministry of Economy, Employment and Competitiveness of the Regional Government of the Community of Madrid for good practices when applying coronavirus security protocols.
The CEO of Endesa, Jose Bogas, has received the Madrid Guarantee Seal which certifies and promotes the good practices adopted by companies in the region.
This means Endesa is the first company in the energy sector to receive such recognition in the form of a quality seal.
Following the creation of the seal last May, Endesa has been recognised in three categories:
Compliance Measures which certifies compliance with regulations and the basic prevention recommendations established by the public administrations.
Extraordinary Measures which confirms that the organisation has gone beyond the basic requirements to ensure people’s health
Solidarity Actions which acknowledges social solidarity activities during the pandemic.
The CEO of Endesa, said: “It comes to ratify our conviction that together we can and must continue to overcome this complex scenario. At Endesa we are continuing to forge ahead with our Covid-19 Public Responsibility Plan, which, in this second phase, will allocate €13 million to actions to reactivate the industrial fabric and social inclusion by offering support to the most vulnerable families.”
