A new handbook released by the Rocky Mountain Institute highlights five transformative actions regional governments can adopt to limit the effects of climate change.

The handbook, compiled in partnership with Under2 Coalition, uses case studies from India, Brazil, Europe and the United States to show how climate-friendly policies can create better outcomes across society.

The Regions Take Action: The Benefits of Major Climate Policies handbook highlights how climate action can help regional governments enhance their economic development, air quality, public health, equity and resilience.
