ENGIE Germany recognised for net-zero service strategy


ENGIE Germany has been named a leader by sustainability evaluation platform EcoVadis owing to its ‘Zero Carbon Transition as a Service’ strategy.

This is the second year in a row ENGIE Germany has been recognized by EcoVadis for employing sustainability in management of the Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.

The energy company has scored a total of 69 points.

Dr. Karl-Peter Thelen, head of Energy Policy, said: ”CSR at ENGIE Germany is at the top of the agenda. The firm further improved its sustainability performance compared to the previous year. We are therefore proud that our measures for the sustainable design and optimisation of processes are having an effect.

”This high importance of CSR is illustrated by the mission“ Zero Carbon Transition as a Service ”, which the French ENGIE Group, the parent company of ENGIE Germany, is pursuing . “The most important strategic goal is to support our customers with low-carbon technologies and services to optimize their CO 2 balance.”
