The Israel Innovation Authority has issued a grant to help energy analytics firm Grid4C to accelerate the development of its algorithm.
The algorithm will be embedded inside smart meters and make real-time decisions at the grid edge to meet the industry’s next generation use cases.
Grid4C is partnering with worldwide leading smart meter vendors in order to provide this innovative solution.
The solution will provide utilities with granular real time predictions and actionable insights for their operations and customer-facing applications.
Utilities will use the solution for granular load forecasting, distributed energy resources optimisation, home energy management at the appliance level, and the prediction, detection, and diagnostics of faults for grid assets and home appliances.
The technology will help improve operational planning, reduce peak demand, increase energy savings, deliver new revenue streams, and increase customer engagement.
Dr. Noa Ruschin-Rimini, Grid4C CEO, said: “We are appreciative of the substantial support and trust the Israel Innovation Authority has in Grid4C and our ability to lead innovation and value delivery with AI-powered energy analytics to global energy providers at the grid edge.”
