In Latin America, the Paraguay electricity regulator Paraguay National Electricity Ande has issued a tender for the purchase and installation of a SCADA information system.
Paraguay National Electricity Ande is inviting qualified parties to submit proposals in sealed envelopes for the provision of the information system, which includes engineering, documentation, supply, installation, integration, testing, training and commissioning.
Deadline for submissions is 25 November, 2015 at 9.00 am.

Paraguay National Electricity Ande
The Paraguay national electricity regulator controlls the country’s electricity market, including the generation, transmission and distribution networks.
The electricity board operates one hydroelectric dam, Acaray, and six thermal power plants, with a total installed capacity of 220 MW.
It operates 3379,622 km of transmission lines in the Interconnected National System, divided in six subsystems, and 1078,26 km of distribution lines.
According to a statement in March 2015, Ande awarded solution provider Crompton Greaves a contract to supply 10 complete ZIV substation automation systems as part of its project to improve the reliability and capacity of Paraguay’s transmission and distribution grid.
