Indian-headquartered multinational technology firm Larsen & Toubro has announced it has signed multiple contracts to help Indian utility companies optimise their operations.
Larsen & Toubro has secured a contract with DNH Power Distribution Corporation to develop a 66KV Gas Insulated Substation in Hilvassa city.
The 339 crore deal includes the laying of 66KV, 11KV and LT underground energy distribution cables and connection to the substation.
Larsen & Toubro has also been selected by the Bangalore Electricity Supply Authority to convert part of an overhead energy distribution system in Bengaluru to an underground.
The project is expected the utility achieve reliable and uninterrupted power supply with improved voltage profile.
The technology company successfully completed deployment of end-to-end Power Portfolio Management Solution for the Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMC).
The solution has been integrated with the utility’s business modules and analytics capabilities to enable fast and accurate decision making.
The solution will be used to store and process data regarding energy sales and purchasing of energy on the wholesale market.
