Improving cybersecurity infrastructure portfolios and technologies to avoid blackouts is a growing concern for global utilities.
A study conducted recently by professional services firm, Accenture, highlighted that 63% of utility executives are seriously concerned about interruptions to power supply on grid networks due to cyber-attacks.
Amongst the 100 utilities examined in the study, 48% said they are well prepared to address an outage resulting from a cyber attack.
