Mumbai, India — (METERING.COM) — December 3, 2010 – The Bihar State Electricity Board (BSEB) has awarded its IT modernization project to IT provider Spanco Ltd.

The Rs160 crore (US$35.3 million) project is under the larger Restructured Accelerated Power Development and Reforms Program (R-APDRP), and is aimed to reduce the aggregated technical and commercial (AT&C) losses to 15 percent in the project areas.
