Indian solution provider closes gap on integrated customer care

New Delhi, India — (METERING.COM) — June 30, 2006 – Enzen Global Solutions, a solution consulting company, has finalized plans to integrate customer care, metering and billing solutions through the internet in a joint venture with CLOSED GAP – offering a unique solution to utility companies.

The CIS solution will be hosted and implemented through the internet whilst data collection will be handled through hand-held devices. The aim of the solution is to improve customer access to utilities and information whist offering utility companies better customer information, reduced process cycle times, increased efficiency in operations and a significant reduction in non-core operations.

Enzen Global CEO Satheesh Kumar has commented that the venture now means that  “distribution companies … will have a high value CIS system at their disposal, contributing to the increase in efficiency and improvement in the overall performances and financial positions of the companies, thus enabling the possibility of rerouting more capital investments to the ‘Energy for All’ programme.”
