The consumer satisfaction survey canvassed over 10,000 energy users. Over 60% of those surveyed said that load shedding was their biggest concern. Problems with metering, particularly meters that are believed to run fast, was mentioned as the second biggest problem, with over 40% of users in some areas listing this as a concern, while some 20% felt that errors in bills needed attention.
However, consumers of all categories reported that bills are always delivered on time, and over 20% said they were satisfied with the existing billing arrangements.
