The European Utility Awards are open to all European utilities and their service providers. Nominations can be submitted in three categories:
1. Business Performance Award – for the solution that has demonstrated best performance when measured against a business case. Examples are revenue improvement, cost reduction etc.
2. Customer Excellence Award – for the utility that has introduced an initiative which has had a measurable effect on customer service. Examples include improved levels in customer satisfaction or a change in customer behaviour.
3. Innovation Award – for the most creative project that has led to a new view of utility metering, billing or customer relationship management.
The awards are sponsored by international consulting group Accenture, and the winners will be announced at Metering, Billing/CRM Europe 2006, being held this year in Copenhagen, Denmak.
