London, U.K. — (METERING.COM) — November 29, 2007 – DataGenic, a company providing data management solutions to the utilities industry amongst others, has announced its continued business expansion to take account of the growing number of opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region. Jack Lazo and Geoff Urbach have joined the company to support and develop business opportunities there.
Based in Singapore, Lazo will lead all sales and account management activities in the Asia Pacific region for DataGenic. Urbach, who is based in Melbourne, will support software technical sales, software implementation projects, and provide product direction for DataGenic Software across Asia Pacific.
Lazo has over 17 years of experience in enterprise IT sales and marketing, and business development; including work with SunGard, Triple Point and ATOS-Origin in the Asia-Pacific region, Japan, Australia and the Middle-East. Urbach has over 15 years of IT development experience and has managed and delivered a number of large high profile projects in the region. He also brings with him significant business knowledge of both the utilities and banking sectors.
DataGenic solutions include Genic DataManager, a data management system which provides a controlled framework for the acquisition, processing, validation, management and distribution of complex usage data; Genic PowerView, an interactive graphical user environment designed for Profile Management, Forecasting and Sales; and Genic EnergyView, a charting, analytical and programming environment designed for energy market analytics, traders and researchers.
