The European Utility Award is open to all European utilities and their service providers. We invite you to submit your nomination, which should describe a recent project which you feel deserves public recognition. The nomination should summarise how the solution provides business case support for the categories below, but you should indicate the primary category on which your entry will be judged. The nomination should also contain a motivation and any other information that will help to differentiate your project. All nominations will be reviewed by a panel comprising Synergy, Accenture, Smart Energy International and other independent industry experts.
Business Performance Award
This award will go to the solution that has demonstrated best performance against a measurable business case. This could be in terms of revenue improvement, cost reduction, value creation or any other measure of improved business performance.
Customer Excellence Award
The winner of this award will be the utility that has introduced an initiative which has had a measurable effect on customer service. You will need to be able to prove improved levels of customer satisfaction, a change in customer behaviour, recognition from regulatory bodies and the like.
This award will go to the most creative project that has led to innovation and a new view of utility metering, billing or customer relationship management. We would like to know what step change in standard tools and techniques occurred; whether the initiative can be adopted by the industry as a whole; how it has improved a technique or system; and more.
