Four new members join Meters and More Association


Brussels, Belgium — (METERING.COM) — November 28, 2012 – Meters and More AISBL has expanded with the addition of four new members – Renesas Electronics Corporation(Japan) as a Full Member, and Corinex Communications Corp.(Canada) CAM Brasil Multiserviços Ltda (Brazil) and Wireless Maingate Nordic AB (Sweden) as Associated Members.

In addition IBM Corp.(USA) has been replaced by IBM Italia S.p.A(Italy).

The Meters and More Association now counts 33 members representing a balanced sample of the various stakeholders involved in the smart metering field, enabling the diffusion of interoperable smart metering systems and consequently to share the benefits of the open protocol.

Meters and More AISBL (Association Internationale Sans Bu tLucratif) is an international non-profit organization founded in 2010 with the scope to adopt, maintain and evolve the open communication protocol for smart metering solutions developed by Enel and Endesa.
