The objective of this call for expressions of interest is to set up a list of vendors.
Expressions of interest should be submitted in one of the official languages of the European Union by electronic means at the following address:
Inclusion on the list entails no obligation on the part of the contracting authority concerning the conclusion of contracts.
Information and documents to be provided:
Interested parties should provide their full contact details and list the specific fields indicated at point 7 that interest them in their expression of interest.
The technology sectors concerned, described in detail in the SET-Plan document ‘Towards an integrated roadmap’ (https://setis.ec.europa.eu/set-plan-process/integrated-roadmap-and-action-plan) are:
• wind energy,
• solar thermal electricity,
• solar thermal heating and cooling,
• ocean energy,
• geothermal energy,
• heat and power from biomass,
• carbon capture, utilisation and storage,
• flexible/back-up generation,
• unconventional fossil fuels,
• sustainable advanced biofuels,
• hydrogen and fuel cells,
• advanced alternative fuels.
Reports may also be required to describe technology development needs and trends, technological barriers to large-scale deployment and projected long-term techno-economic (cost) projections.
Each service contract will cover 1 single sector.
