Cambridge, U.K. — (METERING.COM) — June 13, 2012 – Green Energy Options’ forthcoming Water Ensemble in-home display for water utilization is to be distributed to utilities in Scandinavia and Central Europe by Kamstrup under a new partnership between the two companies.

The in-home water display will give consumers an understanding of their water consumption, enabling them to make informed choices to change behavior and to potentially lower their bills and reduce waste. Readily accessible meter readings and web and mobile application services will also be available

The Water Ensemble display shows the current meter reading, and where multiple meters are present keeps track of hot and cold water consumption.

In addition the Water Ensemble has a range of useful alerts including leaking or burst pipes, indicated by abnormal flow.

“We are really pleased to be working with a first class company like Kamstrup in distributing this unique new colour display, which we believe is the first of its kind,” said Patrick Caiger-Smith, chief executive at GEO. “We can now engage people further by making water consumption visible to the eye in the same way we do with electricity, gas and microgeneration.”

The monitor will be available this autumn and Kamstrup is already taking pre-orders.
