100,000 customers use utility convenience centre

The Commonwealth Edison Company has introduced several customer-friendly options at their Online Convenience Centre in recent years – and has been rewarded by recording 100,000 customers who have registered for the site. Here customers can start, stop or transfer service, establish payment options, report an outage or a damaged meter, and update their account information.

ComEd also offers payment options such as its eBill programme, which allows customers to receive and settle their utility accounts online. Thus far more than 65,000 people have made use of this service.

ComEd is a unit of Exelon Energy Delivery, and the ComEd Convenience Centre is the most visited portion of the company’s web site www.exeloncorp.com
