In this new role, Seal will help SmartSynch continue to develop solutions for the utility market that meet the needs of the company’s customers, partners and strategic allies. He will also serve as the chief liaison with SmartSynch’s meter manufacturing partners, telecommunication partners, and component providers, and be active in the areas of standard protocols and their adoption across the advanced metering infrastructure landscape.
Seal joined SmartSynch in May 2005 to lead the company’s software, hardware and firmware development efforts as VP of engineering. Prior to joining SmartSynch he worked for Mississippi Power Co. where he led the metering services’ automatic meter reading projects from 1986 until 2005.
