Canada’s SaskPower issues tender for OMS upgrade


In Canada, electricity provider Saskatchewan Power Corporation  has issued a tender for the supply and installation of an integrated Outage Management System (OMS) and Distribution Management System (DMS).

The utility is requesting proposals for the installation of the OMS solution to implement core integrations with its Geospatial Information System, Customer Billing and Meter Information System, Workforce Management System, Outage Call Centre and Multi-Channel Customer Communications.

According to the Request for Proposal, SaskPower will purchase only the portion of the selected OMS solution and may purchase the DMS solution and related services at a future date from the single primary implementation lead to be awarded the tender.

Interested parties are requested to visit not later than 17 November, 2015 (03:00pm CST) for clarification and downloading of the tender document.
