Riverside, CA, U.S.A. and Toronto, Canada — (METERING.COM) — February 15, 2010 – On schedule and on budget, Western Municipal Water District has completed the successful implementation of its new customer information and billing solution, CIS Infinity from Advanced Utility Systems.
Western’s goal in implementing a new customer information and billing solution was to improve its customer service capabilities while also deploying a system that is secure and reliable.
CIS Infinity addresses Western’s goal as it is built using Microsoft development tools resulting in a reliable technology base. Enhanced customer service is achieved through many avenues, including an easy-to-use interface that provides access from the account inquiry screen to all customer information with the click of a mouse, automation of communications with customers and the ability to track all customer correspondence.
Western will also be able to take advantage of CIS Infinity’s powerful rate engine that is capable of handling more complex rate structures than the District’s previous system. This capability is an important component of Western’s ongoing water use efficiency programs.
