San Mateo, CA, U.S.A. and Richmond, BC, Canada — (METERING.COM) — March 13, 2013 – Mobile workforce automation and smart grid operations software provider Clevest Solutions Inc. has joined with eMeter to collectively develop and sell integrated software solutions to manage smart grid systems for utilities globally.

As a member of the eMeter Alliance Program, Clevest will have access to the technology and support necessary to integrate its software for mobile workforce management and smart grid deployment and post-deployment operations with the EnergyIP® Grid Application Platform.

Clevest’s mobile platform enables utilities to transform field operations by rapidly automating and optimizing virtually any field work activity or process to improve response time and effectiveness.

“The partnership extends eMeter’s reach out into the field and opens up a new opportunity for Clevest to support work in the field that is more predictive and preventative in nature than reactive,” said Doug Engerman, SVP Global Sales and Marketing at Clevest. “In this way, customers of our joint solution will be able to leverage comprehensive meter data and analysis to proactively identify meter anomalies such as non-technical loss and send field crews to investigate before issues becomes chronic or larger in scope.”

Through the program Clevest will gain access to eMeter’s global network of utility customers, a suite of web services and support including APIs, sample code, demo software licenses and testing programs.

“Our smart grid ecosystem allows utility customers to choose an interoperable solution that integrates the EnergyIP platform seamlessly with our partners’ technology,” added Shannon Amerman, vice president of Technology Alliances at eMeter.
