CRM/CIS market looks up


Energy Central’s Research & Analysis Division has announced publication of the 2005 CIS/CRM Report – the result of a comprehensive study effort led by Warren B Causey, vice-president of the Division. It includes the results and analysis of interviews with industry leaders and a survey of close to 100 utility CIS decision-makers.

Findings demonstrate that the CIS market is showing signs of new and significant activity that is being driven by the business needs of utilities, rather than the desire to introduce technology for technology’s sake. Causey believes that this business foundation gives confidence that the changes in the marketplace are real and lasting.
