Customers manage their accounts online


Ameren Corporation has announced that 100,000 customers have now enrolled in an internet-based programme that allows customers to manage their accounts online. The system, known as eCustomer, gives customers the ability to get billing and usage history information, make payments, establish payment options, turn service on or off and more.
The secure web site is accessible through Ameren’s home page.

Ameren’s eCustomer programme has been improved and expanded since its introduction in February 2003. Future plans include the introduction of electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP) – the ability to receive and pay bills over the internet.
