DRAM Coalition Expands Its Membership

Several new members have recently joined the Demand Response and Advanced Metering (DRAM) Coalition – a move which the organisation said would allow it to enhance its efforts to help states and utilities in their current work of determining the role of demand response and advanced metering in their energy policies. The new members are Cellnet, EnergySolve, Itron and Sensus Metering Systems.

Dan Delurey, executive director of the Coalition, notes that there is broad support for demand response and advanced metering, and says that the question is how to make it happen in a way that delivers the greatest value. DRAM’s goal is to respond to the needs of all stakeholders for information and data, so they can make informed decisions.
