Four energy marketers have opted for EC Infosystems’ GISB/NAESB-compliant EDI software to reduce time to market, speed transactions, improve customer service and reduce costs
Garden City, NY, U.S.A. --- (METERING.COM) --- January 23, 2007 – Four energy marketers – American PowerNet, Ambridge Energy, Titan Gas, and Wasatch Energy – have opted for EC Infosystems’ GISB/NAESB-compliant EDI software to reduce time to market, speed transactions, improve customer service and reduce costs.
Each of the companies is beginning operations in a new state – American PowerNet in Illinois; Ambridge Energy entering Texas; Titan Gas entering New York; and Wasatch Energy, entering the California Core market.
"EC Infosystems is delighted to have earned the trust of these leading energy companies," noted Mohan Wanchoo, President. "We're excited to welcome them to our growing list of 300-plus clients, and look forward to providing the software tools they need to serve their new electricity and gas customers."
Formerly Intelsys, EC Infosystems adopted its new name in November 2006 after experiencing rapid growth and adopting a focus on developing a new generation of electronic commerce products and services for the energy industry, including EC/EDI outsourcing, integrated billing services, load forecasting and professional and consulting services.
"Success in entering a new territory involves making a good impression on customers immediately and steadily gaining market share," said David R. Butsack, Vice President, logistics and analysis at American PowerNet. "In starting up our operations in Illinois, we feel the processing solutions from EC Infosystems will give us an edge."
"We have a firm hold on the California Non-Core market and as we enter the California Core market, we're committed to continued improvement in efficient and cost effective customer service," said Ryan Wall, Manager of Natural Gas Marketing of Wasatch Energy. "The software solutions from EC Infosytems will allow us to hit the ground running."
"As new energy marketers in Texas, we'll need to process transactions like customer enrollment, historical usage, meter readings and many others quickly and seamlessly," stressed Michael J. Burke, Director of Ambridge Energy. "By outsourcing our transaction processing to EC Infosystems, we're assured of state-of-the-art software and high customer satisfaction."
"Any company moving into a new market has to deliver great customer service from day one," noted Alan Biney, President of Titan Gas. "We'll be able to provide that in New York because of our partnership with EC Infosystems."
