Akron, OH, USA — (METERING.COM) — August 15, 2006 – First Energy Corp., in conjunction with Visa, has today announced that its customers can now pay their electric bills online using Visa credit or check cards accounts in three US States.
The program will also allow customers to track payments and earn reward points based on their specific card program.
The program will be made available to customers from seven electric utility operating companies: Ohio Edison, The Cleveland Electric Illumination Company, and Toledo Edison in Ohio; Metropolitan Edison, Pennsylvania Electric, and Pennsylvania Power in Pennsylvania; and Jersey Central Power & Light in New Jersey.
