Raleigh, NC, U.S.A. — (METERING.COM) — April 23, 2007 – Elster Integrated Solutions (EIS), part of Elster Group, has announced the availability of a gas meter module for the EnergyAxis® System fixed mesh network. The EnergyAxis System gas module adds to Elster’s automated system solutions that help utilities and energy management companies better manage their operations.
Developed to allow utilities to add automated gas meter reading to the EnergyAxis System, Elster’s AMI system with two-way mesh network communications, the EnergyAxis gas module enables utilities to realize the benefits of improved revenue cycle services, customer service, delivery reliability, and workforce utilization.
