Improving customer service performance


Atmos Energy Corporation, a natural-gas-only distributor serving 3.5 million gas utility customers, has signed a multimillion dollar contract with Indus International Inc. to implement Indus’ Customer Suite software solution. The Indus solution will help Atmos Energy to cut costs, while facilitating better communication and ore efficient service for the 1.5 million accounts from the recently-acquired TXU Gas Company. The utility plans to implement the system for its other 1.7 million accounts in the future.

Using Indus’ Customer Suite solution will allow Atmos Energy to have a comprehensive view of all customer information, and to automate customer service functions throughout the company. Customers will have a powerful online resource will allow them to pay bills online, review their account and request additional services. /
