US smart grid tech company Apex CoVantage is seeking to gain a foothold in the Indian market through the deployment of advanced meter reading and advanced metering infrastructure pilots for utilities.
Apex CoVantage plans to offer its ProField deployment software, an enterprise resource planning system for mobile workforce management, to utilities facing issues with meter tampering and inaccurate data reporting.
Sangeet Dutta, vice president of global operations at Apex CoVantage, said: “We are eager to assist the Indian utilities in their initiatives to improve service reliability and enhance existing infrastructure.”
“Our team is dedicated to improving the country’s operational efficiency and the use of ProField will certainly accelerate this effort.”
