Toronto, ON, Canada — (METERING.COM) — September 20, 2011 – A new water submetering program has been launched in Ontario’s multi-residential new construction market by EnerCare Inc.
While EnerCare has submetered water on a limited basis for several years, it has experienced significant levels of new client interest in water submetering for multi-residential new construction developments over the last several quarters as public awareness of the issues surrounding water conservation has grown.
In response, the company launched the new water submetering offering in late May with a focus on providing affordable and standardized water submetering solutions in this market.
“We are very pleased to be able to offer water submetering as a standard offering to the multi-residential new construction market and gratified by the level of interest shown by developers" said John Macdonald, president and CEO.
Since the launch of the program, EnerCare has entered into 11 water submetering arrangements representing in excess of 1,000 individual suites. In addition, the company has active proposals for water submetering with clients representing several thousand suites.
