San Antonio, TX, U.S.A. — (METERING.COM) — January 25, 2012  – Oracle Utilities Meter Data Analytics has been launched as a key component of analytics products aimed to help utilities improve meter data system performance and analyze usage trends.

The solution includes eight pre-built dashboards that cover device activities, installations and events, as well as validation, estimation and editing (VEE) exceptions, AMI performance and usage. To enhance business performance, the dashboards enable utilities to make informed decisions based on key metrics, such as unbilled energy, gaps in transmission, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI)/device performance, consumption patterns, trends in VEE exceptions and revenue protection events (i.e. tamper alerts) and consumption patterns throughout the grid.

Oracle Utilities Meter Data Analytics also contains extract, transfer and load (ETL) improvements that help reduce the complexity and improve the efficiency of installing, maintaining and monitoring data processing.

Oracle has also announced the availability of Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Management 2.1 and Oracle Utilities Mobile Workforce Analytics, which help utilities to improve field service efficiency, customer service and system reliability. New enhancements include flexible scheduling options and advanced collaboration tools.
