New Port Richey, FL, U.S.A. and Toronto, ON, Canada — (METERING.COM) — October 5, 2012 – Pasco County Utilities has selected Advanced Utility Systems to implement its CIS Infinity customer information system (CIS) and billing application.
Located on the Gulf of Mexico in the Tampa Bay area, Pasco County Utilities provides water and sewer services, reclaimed water, solid waste/resource recovery, recycling, hazardous waste, environmental lab and residential street lighting service to most of the 470,000 residents residing within Pasco County.
In 2011, the County issued its request for proposal in search of a new CIS and utility billing application, to replace its existing custom legacy mainframe system that had been in place since 1986. The County sought a solution that would improve customer service levels by offering increased levels of customer self service options, providing effective customer communication, and enabling customer service representatives to respond to customer requests quickly and efficiently.
In addition to CIS Infinity, the County will also implement Advanced’s customer web self service application, Infinity.Link as well as Infinity.Mobile, its mobile solution for utility field personnel.
