Peabody, Massachusetts – June 15, 2006 – LODESTAR Corporation announced that Version 4.50 of its LODESTAR® Customer Choice Suite™ (CCS™) addresses the need for customers to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and also offers performance enhancements to the earlier version.
“LODESTAR CCS Version 4.50 has enhanced security and added new auditing and versioning features that help our clients comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act,” said Ken Hamilton, Senior Director of Product Management for LODESTAR. “In this new paradigm for corporate responsibility, it is imperative that energy providers use software with these features that are not only effective in financial reporting, but also easy to use.”
In addition, current customers upgrading to version 4.50 will benefit from other performance improvements. Enhancements to LODESTAR® Rules Language™ will provide faster data processing, and will enable integration with third-party interfaces within business rule processing. Other enhancements include new tools for optimizing performance and scalability, new web interfaces for service points and other market entities, and versioning support for interval data. Users will also be able to send e-mails with attached reports, export usage directly to Microsoft® Excel® spreadsheet software, and format reports in Microsoft® Word, Excel and Adobe® Acrobat® software.
Many other enhancements and features will be included in this latest version that will drive the energy industry and support the needs of customers.
